I met up with Mei Yi for a catchup and some shopping at "Orchard".I pamper myself by getting a new wallet from "Samantha Thavasa" and three Japanese beading books from "Kinokuniya" bookstore for a self upgrade to my beading skills.
Before going to "Samantha Thavasa" boutique, I went to "Samantha Vega" at Wisma Atria Isetan. After having decided on a black heart quilted wallet and only to be told by the sales assistant that it is made with PVC. Changed my mind after that and headed to "Samantha Thavasa" to purchase a calf leather wallet of course approximately S$100 more for it. More worth paying for given the materials used to make it. The designs for Samantha Vega products are really very girlie and elegant. Something that in my opinion is suitable for my age; not too "auntie" and not too "gee-na".
It has been some time since I last pampered myself with something so pricey for my own birthday present. Better to get myself than waiting for someone to get for me.
Shwu Ping surprised me with her appearance and a slice of chocolate fudge cake from "Coffee Bean". Some mini birthday celebration photos to be uploaded soon.
It took me quite a bit of time to decide on the wallet to get. I picked on this one which my eyes set on the moment I entered the shop.
