3rd day of school at SMA

I realised that I have not blog about school for these past 3 days. School was rather fun as everybody is like rather friendly and easy-going. Thus, its quite easy to socialise with them. We have lessons at "Poly Marina"(somewhere in west coast, beside Republic of Singapore Yacht Club) every Tuesday from 8.30am-5pm. We were also asked why we want to join this course by different captains who teaches us and yesterday, we got some "new" answers from our classmates :D. This time round answers like "its in my blood...my uncle also in this line", "to travel and get paid", "honestly for money" etc were given.
A few captains told us that our starting pay once we graduate with COC(Certificate of competency) will be like $3500. For a diploma holder, that amount of starting pay is already not bad to us as said by Yong Yong. =D True anyway as we do not even have a degree but the sad :( or happy case is that we have to sail :). There are 5 girls out of 60 people in Diploma in Nautical Studies and 1 of them includes me :D

As for uniform, we have to wait for almost a month or so before we can get it. We will get 3 sets of uniform which we have to wear to school and an extra pair of white long pants for special occasions like V.I.Ps coming to our school and then we will have to wear it. On top of that, we will get a hat and a belt too. As for shoes, we have to get it ourselves outside school as ex students complain that the shoes "eat into their skin" in short, caused blisters to their legs.

"Introduction to Navigation" is quite interesting to me as we get to learn about the earth more in depth. "Science 1" is quite boring to me as its about physics which is a subject I struggled through until 'O' levels.

Bing Ru has gone to camp which means he will not online to talk to me and we can only sms each other but its fine with me as he sms me quite often during the camp =D I will miss him lots during his orientation camp. :X
